Here is a question I have, and has probably been answered before, but here goes… Why are all the investigations done in the dark? I know from the cinematic effect, it is a lot scarier dark than lighted. An added benefit would be that fishing line is more easily hidden in a dark environment. The problem I have is that, I am estimating here, that more than 75% of the cases investigated had the ghost sited in a lighted environment (sun light or electrical lights). So, I was going through my TiVO series recording schedule and decided to remove GH. Yeah, seasons over with but it's no longer any sport to watch. I did keep GHI on there, not because they are any more legit, but I like the places they get to investigate. I still have Destination Truth on there, because Josh is funny as hell, but all other paranormal stuff I scrapped.

Okay ... One of my pet peeves is rudeness.

Re-runs are on tonight, of course. The episode on right now is the one where Jason decided to leave the equipment running the rest of the night in the house. Steve and Brian didn't think the place was haunted and were saying they didn't see Jason's reason for leaving it there ... but "what Jason wants, Jason gets".

So what is your thoughts on the new season of GH? Maybe it's me, but they seemed to be a bit more driven to discredit the paranormal. The wife and I are not all that interested in them anymore, but we still record them and watch them at our leisure.

One thing I have always questioned during these investigations, not just specifically GH, is the reactions of the team during these "paranormal" events. I don't understand why they feel the need to freak out, get excited, and change their tactics.

I saw the following poem in one of Donna's blogs on myspace. She wrote it and posted it 11/24/2008. Interesting words from a former TAPS member. Now to be fair, she does say in her comments section that it's not about Jason, Grant or anyone from TAPS or folks behind Ghost Hunters. Maybe not, but she wouldn't be the first female ex-member of TAPS to deny something she said.

Yeah, I got caught up over a TV show recently. So to tommyd, sorry for telling you to shut up.
People are just wasting too much time and energy on this. In the end, its going to be the true investigators out there without TV shows that will be proving if ghosts exist or not. If the day ever comes when the study of the paranormal is taken as a serious science, it won't matter what happened on the TV shows.

New Year Prediction
