Y'all don't know me very well, but I am pretty laid-back, easy going, careful not to offend. With that being said, I've managed to irritate people on a couple of different boards over this subject. I believe that some folks do have this power/gift, but I also believe that there are folks who are just good cold readers.

My stance is that mediums/psychics/sensatives should be able to charge for their services if they want to.

i have discussed the dangers of ghosthunting with several ppl.
weekend warriors 2 ppl who have authored books on the subject.
the weekend warrior is a stubborn lot ~ they dont have enuff sense to think
that trampling through a graveyard or home and summoning things that they know nothing of can hurt

I have to vent here a little bit. Because something is annoying me. Its when someone says, "you should find a TAPS Family group to come and conduct an investigation."
Why? What is it about having the TAPS Family logo on your website that makes your group so special? Yes, TAPS has some criteria they follow in approving a group for TAPS family status. Theres a spike in paranormal shows lately.

One is Ghost Trackers, A kids paranormal shows where 12 kids are put in twos where they go to "haunted locations" must tell "kid" judges what places they are going to be at and have a time limit.

They are judged on
Gear - Which is very limited on what they choose.
Evidance - How much they tell the kid judges what they see, feel, smell, touch.

There's a show in Japan that will take ANY submission of "ghost" evidance and submit it on the show. Some of the footage has leaked on the internet.

Go to youtube or google video and type Japanese ghost and you see the videos.

I have not came across one where it isn't been faked/edited.

So this recent episode this woman goes to a farm and flips out seeing an animal at the window of her room.

She brings in these bogus ghost hunters after she manage to scare these poor kids to death and the kids in their own mind felt that the ghost hunters were a bunch of fakes. Smart kids

So I get an email from this woman claiming she has some paranormal activity going on in her apartment and it is causing, and I quote, "great distress" to her son. So I figure, ok, its warranted to look into.
So I contact her, takes several emails back and forth to finally get more than, "its evil and upsetting my son, can you please come and do something about it?"
Here's what I find out:
Her son is less than 2 months old.

Can you really own an evp? A recording, maybe. but you "discovered" this voice, and revealing it to the world via - internet, television show or otherwise.
