"Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal." |

Did anyone watch this and if so, what did you think? We've had a lot of controversy on this site about psychics and whether or not any of them are genuine.
Any thoughts?

You know I didn't get much sleep the night before and barely managed to stay up for Paranormal State. I should have recorded Psychic Kids. I don't know
why I didn't. Guess I was just too tired to think.

I watched it...I fell asleep thru some parts of it, but overall, I thought that it was a great get away for the kids. Especially for the ones that have been
treated as odd-ball's, outcast's and weirdo's. Growing up is difficult enough without being harassed and/or teased for having psychic abilities.
Chip really seems very sincere in wanting to help these kids validate their thoughts and feelings, which to me, was pleasing to see. And while I am not sure
if any of the kids are truly dead on the money, full fledged, accurate psychics, it was obvious that a few of them seemed to have tuned into something genuine
when they came up with the fact that the lodge had burned down and that people that had been badly burned were still lingering there. The only one that I kind
of had some doubts about was the heavy set black girl (not sure of her name). She just didn't seem to have anything valid or concrete to say or offer. I
got the feeling that she was doing this for attention more than anything else. I could be absolutely wrong, but she just didn't seem like she had the gift
of sight, and that she was more about wanting to be recognized as being someone "special".

I watched it but I was in and out and didn't see the entire show. I however think it is wonderful for those kids so they don't feel like they are
alone or 'freaks'. Both of my children have exhibited signs or psychic ability and I encourage them to explore those feelings and talk to me about
them anytime they wish. Whether it will turn out to anything full-fledged or not I don't know but I do feel they will probably always have
'flashes' if they are open to it.
Maybe I should try to record this show so they can watch it and see what they think. I think all kids should be encouraged to express their feelings and learn about themselves as they seem to be more open-minded than most adults. Sometimes the truth is a bitter pill to swallow. Better to swallow it than choke on it. |

TV is really looking to cash in on the paranormal aren't they? I wouldn't subject my kids to being on TV for profit. Having a 'sixth sense'
is hard enough when you are child, then to put you on TV so you can make a little money, is terrible.

I agree with you Ramoza, But then on the other hand what a great way to make kids with that ability to feel more comfortable about having it. So all I can say
is that I hope the kids are not being force into doing the show.

Not being forced into the show, isn't what I had in mind, what I had in mind was people telling these children they are psychic when they may very well
only have the average person's amount of ESP, ya know? There are a lot of psychics who really think they are good because people tell them they are. Are
they putting these kids to some kind of test first? Craziness.
Sylvia Browne probably got started because one day she guessed correctly what flavor her mom was going to bring home from the store. |

Yea that is possible as well and I really don't think they have any tests to offer these kids to confirm thier abilities because of the low accuracy rate
of such paranormal abilities.

In reality we all have ESP or a sixth sense. You think about your friend and they call. You leave the house with an impending feel of doom and there's a
car accident. I think the psychic kids show is just another way to make money for people who are laughing a the paranormal, all the way to the bank to quote a
cliche.
I think there are tests though to gauge your psychic ability, isn't there a university that does intensive studies on this, or am I thinking of the movie Ghost Busters? |

I'm glad you mentioned kids and the paran-. It is a serious issue now, what with so called "experts" giving bad advice
to parents on what should be thoughtful consideration by real social workers and psychologists. Check out taps website( i know...yuch). It is filled with red flags now, paranormal crisis! Moms and dads seeking solutions to their real problems from goons ready to toss autist children or depressed patients to the lions! True some psychics want to help. Or the occasional new age witch could give you a lucky sage bag for a confidence boost. But, I can only hope these families meet a good doctor or expert down the road, far from the maddening crowd. We're taps" we're here to help."Doh!

Hi Ramosa
You may have seen a movie demonstrating paranormal abilities, but in reality Dr. J.B. Rhine and his wife, Dr. Louise E. Rhine were doing scientific experiments in telepathy, clairvoyance at the parapsychology laboratory at Duke University in 1934. Their conclusion was, that by recognizing the occurance of extrasensory perception, we open the way to a sound belief in the extraphysical potentiality in man. This potentiality may well be our strongest weapon in the fight to re-establish a balance between our technological advances and our spiritual concept of man. Which I feel was on target for the arrival of the "Transformation of consciousness" 2012.

Everyone's take on psychic abilities, depends upon their level of their soul's development. This can be shown by a birth chart ( horoscope). Some
people are in grade 1 of their developement, some are in in the 10th grade. The soul must graduate from 12 different grades and learn their lesson's in a
human body. It is interesting to discover what grade you are in during this lifetime, and even more fun to learn what you accomplished in the last lifetime.
But the Psychic children living in human bodies today, are highly evolved souls and have arrived for a definite purpose. Parents who have been chosen to
protect them and nurture them have been given a precious responsibility. I have been doing soul charts for these unique children and been able to help their
parents not only to understand them better, but also being nutritionist have been able to advise them on their particular nutritional needs as a birth chart
also indentifies the weakest area of each of their bodies. See my website: ageproofyourbodyastrologically.com
